• Manage and maintain SQL Server DB for application and data warehouse across Development, Test, and Production environment.

• Analyse, plan, and implement database backup/recovery, High Availability/Performance configuration, archival.

• Support service requests on database and access provisioning.

• Analyse, plan, test and coordinate with Database team in database server patches and upgrade.

• Analyse, test and coordinate with Database team in database server OS patches and upgrade.

• Support, track, and coordinate Database Change Request from application and report team.

• Provide technical advice/solution to application and report team on application and report database.

• Provide technical advice/solution and support the conduct of performance tuning.

• Provide technical advice/solution to ETL team considering impact to database performance and availability.

• Provide technical advice/perform data modelling, index and partition planning for Data Warehouse and potentially OLTP databases.

• Support application/report team on troubleshooting of issues, tracing, and data lineage.

• Will be advantageous to have skills on data sync/integration between on premise SQL Server to Azure SQL Server Databases cross continent.

• Will be advantageous to have skillset to develop, troubleshoot and operationalized SSIS packages to support adhoc requests on data porting activities.

7+ years of experience in Database Administration for very large and complex databases in SQL Server 2012, SQL Server 2008 R2, 2008 and 2005.

Experience in manage and maintain SQL Server DB for application across Development, Test, and Production environment.

Expertise in Database Administration on Production Servers.

Experience in planning and implementing database backup/recovery, High Availability and Archival.

Experience in Database server patches and upgrade.

Performing index creation, index management and partition planning for databases.

Experience with SSIS packages for data porting activities.

Strong technical background along with the ability to perform business analysis and write effective documentation and specifications.

Experience in T-SQL writing stored procedures, triggers and functions.

Administering SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies.

Experience in DTS, Bulk Loads with SSIS and BULK INSERT ETL operations.

Worked on Clustering, Troubleshooting production issues and raising high availability.
